PLAN YOUR VISIT
We’re a little different from a standard taproom. Here’s what to know before you head this way.

Find us at 11109 Plank Road, off Rt. 3 just a few miles from Fredericksburg.

Drinks

Our farmhouse ales, cider, hard seltzer, non-alcoholic drinks, and hydration stations will be available at the 1781 bar. Our sister business, Wilderness Run Vineyards, is just behind 1781 Brewing Company, offering 20 labels of our own Virginia wine, mimosas and wine slushies. Please leave Yeti, Stanley, Hydro Flask, and similar drink containers at home. This helps us stay compliant with our ABC license.

Food

Charcuterie, and cheese plates will be available for purchase on-site. Guests are welcome to bring food.

Parking

Free parking is available on-site. Because we are located on a farm, parking areas may include gravel, grass, or uneven ground. Please use care when walking from your vehicle to the buildings and outdoor seating areas.

Weather

Much of our seating is outdoors, and the experience can change with the weather. We recommend checking the forecast before your visit, and checking our Facebook page before heading out during questionable weather, since that's where we post the quickest updates.

Outdoor Seating & Terrain

We're an indoor-outdoor farm brewery. Our property includes gravel walkways, gravel-covered seating areas, and natural ground seating areas. Some surfaces may be uneven, especially after weather changes. If you have mobility concerns or need help planning your visit, please contact us before you come out and we'll do our best to help. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs for outdoor seating, especially during busy times or events.

Kids

Families are welcome on the farm, and we ask that children remain supervised by an adult at all times while on the property. Please note that children are not permitted on the farm after 8:00 p.m. We appreciate your understanding as we keep the evening comfortable for all guests.

Dogs

Friendly dogs are welcome in outdoor areas. Dogs must remain leashed and under control at all times. Dogs are not permitted in areas where they may disturb livestock, staff operations, or private spaces.

A Few Reminders

We ask guests to respect the land while they're here. Please stay within public guest areas, dispose of trash properly, and avoid entering restricted, private, animal, or production areas. Thanks for helping us keep the farm safe and enjoyable for everyone.
